What is The Pub? | |
| It is a place where people interested in beer can post and track beers they have tasted. You can see stats about your beers, post images, make comments and more. The premise is to create a database of beer information from all over the world with reviews written by a number of different people. | |
How to get an account. | |
| Currently accounts are by invitation only. We are looking for people in a wide variety of locations who are interested in adding to the pub by reviewing beers local to them. If you would like to get involved use the contact link at the top of this page, or see the Facebook link on the index page of the site for more info. | |
Editing your account information | |
| You can change your initial user name as well as your password by using the 'Edit My Account' button. This is also where you would change your location, website and user info. | |
Retrieving your password. | |
| If you have lost your password we can send it to you. Simply send an e-mail via the contact link above using the e-mail address you specified when you created your account. | |
Posting a beer. | |
| Posting a beer is quick and easy. Simply click on the 'Post a Beer!' button and follow the directions. You can upload or link to an image, or build a beer with the images provided. After your image is done simply fill out the form with the required information about the beer you have sampled. | |
Editing your posts. | |
| You can always go back and edit your posts if you forgot something, want to add something, or change an image. To see a list of your posts for editing use the 'Edit My Posts' button above. You can also temporarily disable a post so it is not viewable as well as delete posts. Here you can also see the hit count for each individual beer you have reviewed, this is based the number of times that particular beer page has been visited via a direct link. | |
RSS Feeds | |
| Each user has an individual RSS feed for their posts, these are found on the page that lists a users posts and information, under 'See My Posts' and on the 'Users' page. The complete RSS Feed for The Pub and all its posts is found here: http://twinbeer.com/pubrss.php |
